Nadine whom was very much Shereen’s companion aka tour guide when she was on business trips to the Philippines is in Penang. True to the Malaysian culture, we returned the favour by showing her around town; and over a dinner conversation; much to my surprise I learnt that artistic portraiture is not common in the Philippines.
With that being said, together with my partner in crime Jonsern, we arranged an ad-hoc portraiture session for Nadine. Hope the pictures will remind you constantly of Penang’s heritage charm…

I’m back in Manila! Thanks so much for taking the time to take my photos when I was there. The shots are really great. I will help you promote your services here. We have such services in Manila (artistic portraits) but they are mostly for weddings. What we don’t have in common here is the “celebrity” shots particularly, wherein they dress you up and help you do make up and stuff and ask you to do “celebrity style” poses.
Anyway, it was a wonderful experience for me to do this photo sessions with such talented photographers in Penang! I love your work! I’ll try to link you up with my wedding coordinator friends and let’s see what comes up. Hope to see you in the Philippines soon!
